Some side arms for the Amazons. Themed compatible for Scythians.

For the Scythians, we had originally borrowed some ideas from the Kimmerians (think cousin offshoots) and their sword and dagger side arms. For the Amazons we took some ideas from other Scythian arms and included an open blade, mace, and pick. Likely an axe to join them, Since we have some shared space, it made sense to theme the side arms closely to each other.
And a cool drawing bow arm! We've added sleeves to the arm to blend in more with the armor torsos. Scaled bracelets for some forearm and painting features.
Inventory on Amazons.

Here is an inventory on heads, torsos and legs for Amazons. Tim spent today adding some facial expression in the mouths of some of the heads, and has added another open haired model for some more diversity.
Below, are combinations of plate, tunic, scale, and bone plates. Take note of the collars, which can be painted to suit either a metal protective element, or with gold, an element to paint for a "closeness" to god or jewelry aspect. Felt like we needed one more armor piece, so I've requested a hoplite armor to be added. Scythians and by extension Amazons would have loved the degree of protection to weight it used.
Lastly, legs. We need to prioritize the handling of four main posing legs, likely using two pant and two skirt variants.
3D Printing
I am going to be printing to test the flow and synergy of the poses, to see where we are. We imagined warriors having an independent spirit, but poses to align with ideas of a unit.
Thank You
Tim has said he is very grateful for the opportunity to work on Amazons once more, and that it was a treat to tackle the subject years later. He has put in some long hours during the Kickstarter, so I am very grateful for his commitment. He will continue troubleshooting designs as we set out to make the project what you deserve.
Funding Reached! What to Expect in the Final Days

It is 2/7 and the bar has finally reached funding. We've had a lot of fun making new models, touching them up, and getting them ready for the down the road plastic march. However, we could not have done this without your support and backing. First and foremost, I want to thank you for your time and interest in our project.
It was about 3 years ago when I started working on the faun project. I had a bug up my butt to make models, and wanted to learn what it took to make them. Through a lot of trial and error and connections with people, I was finally able to do that, and now again with your help as we work on the Satyrs, Scythians and Amazons. The task ahead will be a challenge, but should yield great results.
What's Coming Up?
The kickstarter is set to end on Thursday morning. You will have a chance to adjust any pledges before then, but don't fret if you need to change something after. As funds are pulled to fund the project we will eventually have backerkit up to streamline your pledge. So, no worries, you have time to change your mind if need be.
-
Revised tier pledge currently has 2 boxes for $40, and 4 at $60. If there is a gap difference we can address it in the upcoming pledge manager. Up 20 dollars on tier pledges for a quick fix.
- These are mix and match between Centaurs, Fauns, Satyrs and Scythians/Amazons. Any combination.
In February, the molders are going through Chinese New year. Mold production will not begin immediately. So during this time we will be going over the sculpts, using notes taken from your feedback. We will be reporting this information back to you in regular updates to show progress. Importantly, after the sculpts are completed, we will need to 3D print, test for fitting and strength, and as needed, spot revise.
When we are ready to present the STL line up, we will lay them out for you.
I am currently negotiating a little more to see if we can squeeze in the third mold to separate the Amazons and Scythians. But for now, assume a 4x6 for the Satyrs and the 6x9 for Amazons and Scythians.
When STLs are chosen, molders will plot out the diagram of the molds, and confirming deposits, will process the molds over a 2-3 month period. In the first run, there will be a test shot, and a final test shot as the mold is improved. Once finalized, the production order can begin. From there, it will ship to me and sorted.
Those awaiting the STLs will get them when we are ready to progress to the final files layout. Estimating March.
As a Thank You for 6k
We will be adding the Minotaur Trio to the Faun and Centaur kickstarter folder for STLS. Automatically added to those backing in the $35 tier.
We will also make a link available for printing
These are metal cast examples of how they come together.
In Conclusion
Let's finish these last few days strong. We are looking forward to the road ahead. Enjoy your superbowl, loved ones and more.
